Importance of Employee Training Practices Towards Business Performance

Training is an essential aspect of any company's growth, and it is a continuing activity which is important to increase profitability, better utilization of resources, increase employee engagement, increase employee performance, and leads towards positive employee attitude. Therefore, to be more effective in the workplace, employees must undergo training and development procedures that aims to improve their ability to perform a particular job (DeCenzo & Robbins, 2007) In order to keep pace with technological advancements and workplace tactics, companies and workers must keep up with their knowledge, skills and values since training is a great approach to improve one's knowledge and abilities.   4. Interview employees – Communicating with the employees to identify the training types that they need and what are the skills that need to be improved.
  5. Select the correct training tool –  Training tools such as conducting conferences, workshops, seminars, on the job training, group discussions, coaching programs and providing training materials.
  6. Conducting trainings – Conducting trainings physically or virtually
  7. Evaluating the result – Evaluating whether the training procedures are effective or not
